AML & KYC Compliance

How Reserva Europe AB meets its anti-money-laundering, identity-verification and data-processing obligations, and the regulated third parties that support us.

Compliance framework

Anti-money laundering

We maintain anti-money-laundering procedures in accordance with the EU anti-money-laundering directives and Swedish financial regulation. All transactions are monitored, and suspicious activity is reported to the relevant authorities.

Know your customer

Your identity is verified before we process any transaction. Verification covers document checks, confirmation of your address and, for larger purchases, documentation of your source of funds.

LBMA compliance

All metals are sourced exclusively from refiners certified by the London Bullion Market Association.

OECD due diligence

Our sourcing follows the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.

KYC requirements

  • A valid government-issued photo ID: passport, national identity card or driving licence.
  • Proof of address dated within the last three months, such as a utility bill or bank statement.
  • A source-of-funds declaration for purchases over €10,000.
  • Enhanced due diligence for politically exposed persons.

KYC processor: Sumsub

GULD.COM has appointed Sum and Substance Ltd. (“Sumsub”) as its identity-verification processor. When you complete verification from your account, the Sumsub SDK is loaded in your browser and the following processing takes place under a data-processing agreement concluded pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.

  • Capture of your government-issued identity document and a live selfie or liveness video.
  • Automated document authenticity, biometric face-match and liveness checks.
  • Sanctions, politically-exposed-person and adverse-media screening against regulatory watchlists.
  • Return of a verification status — approved, rejected or pending — to GULD.COM, together with the identity attributes required under the fifth and sixth EU anti-money-laundering directives.

Sumsub acts as our processor. Reserva Europe AB remains the controller of your identity data.

Verification records and supporting documents are retained for the statutory 10-year anti-money-laundering period and then deleted.

The third parties below process personal data on our behalf. Each operates under a written data-processing agreement with appropriate transfer safeguards under Chapter V GDPR where processing takes place outside the European Economic Area.
