Founded 1984, led from Arezzo

Founded by Ivana Ciabatti in Arezzo, Italpreziosi grew from a regional refiner into one of the world's largest gold companies by turnover, while keeping refining and production based in Tuscany.

Italy has no active domestic gold mines, so Italpreziosi built its supply around recovered jewellery and scrap, and became a certified B Corp for the discipline that requires.
